Grade School

Grade school, usually shortened to GS, is the youth size run that sits between kids' sizes and full adult sizes. In UK terms our GS pairs run from size 3 to 6. They are made for older children and teenagers, but plenty of adults with smaller feet buy GS too, as they are often the same design at a lower price than the adult version.

What we stock

Our grade school range is built around the Jordan 4. We currently have GS versions of Black Cat, White Cement, Rare Air, White Thunder and Black Canvas. These follow the adult design closely, with the same mesh panels, lace wings and visible Air in the heel.

GS versus adult pairs

GS pairs usually differ in small details rather than the overall look. Materials can vary slightly, and the shape is scaled to a younger foot, so the toe box can feel a little narrower. For most people, the difference is hard to spot once the shoes are on.

Sizing tips

If you are buying for a child, measure their foot and leave a little growing room, around a thumb's width at the toe. Adults moving from adult sizes to GS usually take the same UK size.
