Description
The Nike P-6000 Metallic Silver Pure Platinum is the pair that dragged the early 2000s running shoe back into fashion, and it did it in chrome. Reflective, layered and unmistakably Y2K, this is the colourway everyone pictures when they hear P-6000.
The upper is built on breathable white and grey mesh, wrapped in metallic silver synthetic overlays that run in thin sculpted bands across the toe, midfoot and heel. The effect is closer to brushed metal than leather, catching the light from every angle. A glossy black Swoosh cuts across the side as the only real contrast, with P-6000 branding printed on the lateral heel, a mesh tongue carrying the Nike mark, and white laces threaded through moulded silver eyelets.
Underneath, a white Cushlon foam midsole delivers the soft, responsive cushioning the model is known for, shaped with the layered lines of its running heritage. A black rubber outsole wraps the perimeter and runs across the tread for grip and durability.
