Description
The Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 ViZiRed is the Omni at its most classically 2010. Silver, charcoal and a jolt of ViZi red, it looks like it came straight out of a running shop window and that is exactly the appeal.
The upper starts on breathable grey and silver open mesh through the toe box and quarter panel, layered with metallic silver synthetic overlays that sweep across the midfoot in the Omni's signature curved lines. Black mesh wraps the collar and heel for contrast, with charcoal panels running along the eyestay. ViZi red handles the accents, outlining the Saucony triangle mark on the lateral side and picking out the omni 9 branding on the heel counter, plus a small hit on the toe wrap.
The sole is where the colour really lands. A white ProGrid midsole carries the shock-absorbing cushioning the model was built around, sitting on bright coral red rubber pods at the heel and forefoot with grey rubber through the middle for traction and durability.
Technical, bright and properly of its era, this is a standout for anyone building a chunky runner rotation who wants something with more punch than a neutral pair.
